Hello , welcome to another episode of the Faithfully Fulfill Podcast . Welcome . I hope you are doing well in your week , doing well in your day at the time that you are listening to this , this episode . I want to coach and help your mindset because this episode , if you clicked on this , you are one of my people who have a hard time with decisions and you may even be listening to this trying to make a decision and your current circumstances around you is kind of like helping you , like put that off and it's not helping you . It could be hurting you . So I just want to coach you and speak to your heart and your mind and help you to work through this so you can transition to the place and you can also be the best you can be , knowing that your best is enough . And let's get some clarity Are your current circumstances dictating all your decisions , or is that most important decision that you need to make , that you know could change your life , and your situation , but it's a little rocky and a little chaotic so you can't even really like see that because it's just blurred .
OteshaSometimes we have the lack of confidence to make changes and we make excuses to why we can't change or we can't grow , because what's going around us that noise , this could be head noise , this could be busy noise , this can be anything . Decisions that we kind of put to the side , especially when it comes to investing in ourselves , is things like you know . Is it a good time to start school right now ? Is it a good time to work out even something you know short , like a short term goal ? Is it , you know , a good time for me to schedule a doctor appointment ? I got all this going on at work . I'm going to have to request off . I'm going to have to do this . I'm going to have to do this . This is a good time to invest in a therapist ? I don't know really what that looks like , that process , because life right now is chaotic and I just can't really think about doing this or that because this is what's happening right now . I'm going to wait until things get straightened out , right ? So I really want you to think about your long-term needs , your long-term wants and those things that you desire , because they're a little fuzzy right now and your confidence is really low and you don't really have that faith or that ump to change , because right now it's just too damn fuzzy . So let's kind of talk about getting back on track . So get back on track by focusing on what and who matters to you the most . Is it your kids' well-being Not to get off track too much .
OteshaBut I have the pleasure and honor to speaking and talking to a lot of adult students and adult learners and a lot of moms , a lot of working moms that are also , you know , further in their education or they want to , and so sometimes we really have to tap into the things that are external to us , because we'll do anything for our kids in a minute . Ok , our kids well-being is like that Right , we will sacrifice ourselves to make sure that our kids are good , they're fed and they have the best quality of quality of life . They're fed and they have the best quality of quality of life . So if that is what you need to do , to focus , um , to tap in , like you know why , you should make the decision to do what you need to do , um , even if it is your wellbeing , I am going to start taking care of my body better so I can stick around a little bit longer . When my child gets older , I would like to see my grandkids , I would like to run around and play with them and be around a little bit longer . So if that's what you need to tap into that and to live better than do so , do you need to , you know , gather some resources or have better resources to have a better quality of life ? If education is a part of that , if a career transition is a part of that , or even if you need a career that you could be a proud of and one that supports the things that you value , that may be what you need to tap into in order to make this important decision and not let your current circumstances to dictate that that might be what you need to do .
OteshaSo then the next thing I would recommend you to do is to go back to refining and defining your goals , thinking beyond what you currently see , and just make a decision . Make a decision that you're not just going to be here anymore this is not where I want to be and this is not the way it's supposed to be and make a decision that you can live with now to have less stress later , because we're going to have stress . Stress is inedible , but I feel like some of the stress that we have is kind of self-imposed when we procrastinate and put a important decision off that is going to give us more longevity in the future . So you can do it , you can handle it , you can find , you can identify and you could also identify some resources that will help you along the way . So then , last but not least , I want you to make a decision to change the thing , to work on the area , to grow , to challenge yourself .
OteshaChallenge yourself in one area that you want to improve , to improve the quality of life for yourself or the ones that you value and care for the most . So I hope this episode will help you with some of that decision fatigue that you have . That is a challenge for women who are in high demand , who are high achieving , who like to get things and , and what's currently in front of us . But we have to make sure that we're ultimately , at the end of the day , working on the bigger vision , even in the small day-to-day things . So I hope this message encouraged you and empowered you to make that decision and step outside of your current circumstances to make a long-term decision that will help you and the ones that you value the most . This is Otesha and I thank you for tuning in to the Faithfully Fulfill podcast , and I will speak to you next time . Bye .
